Currently, I'm a Data Scientist at BV Bank, where I'm involved in the conception, construction, and validation of Generative AI applications. Another activity which I worked on was improving models by integrating new features and testing new algorithms, including the creation of new features. I've also been responsible for evaluating new algorithms like TabNet and developing recommendation systems (e.g., Factorization Machines and Two-Towers models). Other activities include the fine-tuning of 7-billion-parameters Language Models and comparing their performance against larger models. Prior to my current role, I spent four years as a Data Scientist at Itaú Unibanco. My main assignments were on projects related to Natural Language Processing (NLP), including text data classification algorithms and training Word2Vec models. I also worked in constructing anomaly detection algorithms to identify abnormal behaviors and fraud detection with audio data and other related projects. I also worked 4 years at Embraer as an Avionics Product Development Engineer. My main responsibilities were supporting the avionics systems architectures, logic simulation, modeling and testing. Other activities performed were: supporting test campaigns in the aircraft and test benches, writing technical reports and supplier management. My early experience includes a year at the LCTI (Computational Intelligence Laboratory), where I developed Neural Network models to predict future river water flow based on historical measurements and local rainfall data. The fields that I am interested in are Machine Learning, Modeling, Simulation, Aviation and Data Science.
