I'm a mathematician with a passion for numbers and algorithms who found my calling in people leadership early in my career as a technology trainee. Over the course of 18 years, I've worked for companies in the financial, real estate, retail and energy sectors, with the last 4 years as a director. My background is in Data and Analytics, with stronger experience in data engineering. I've led the creation of data teams from the ground up, establishing efficient processes, clear roles, and well-defined responsibilities. I've also restructured areas that needed increased productivity and collaboration, creating an integrated strategy and fostering a unified team spirit. Related to data platform engineering, my experience ranges from migrating on-premise solutions to the cloud to deploying modern near real-time architectures, and implementing new visualization tools. I also promoted the spread of a data-driven culture among executives, ensuring that analytics engineering and data analytics teams were aligned with the business's strategic goals and key results (KRs), consistently delivering results and building sustainable data products. For the past 6 years, I acted as a career mentor, supporting new leaders at different stages of their journeys. Currently, I'm a professor in the Head of Data training course at Strides Tech Community.
